Re: KN7000 SD
I get an error "different file system" when I try to move the file. I have reformatted the SD but doesn't help. I just got the SD Juke box on Ebay. Thanks.

Re: KN7000 SD
Hi Chuck,
Let's check a few key things then:
1 - You have the Panasonic SZ-CB7 Technics KN7000 SD Audio PC Writing Kit with Panasonic Card Reader and SD Jukebox 2.4?
2 - Your SD Card is 1Gb or less and is an "SD Secure" card?
3 - You formatted the SD Card in your KN7000?
4 - You saved a file from the KN7000 onto your card (this has to be done in order to finish initialising the card)?
Please ensure that you have all of the above completely correct and then we can move on to more checks. Every small detail of my four points above is critical.
If all of the above are correct, Step 5 will be to try a different brand and size of SD Card before we go further.
Best wishes,
Mike

Re: KN7000 SD
Hi Chuck,
It has to be 1Gb or less. KN7000 (and KN2600) was designed with a 1Gb maximum. Some members have had success in making a 2Gb SD Card work as a 1Gb card. However, the keyboard was designed for 1Gb maximum.
SD Jukebox 2.4 was designed for KN7000 and KN2600 (this is a fact). Other versions won't work (some people might disagree with me).
I know that some Members might disagree with me here because they have had some limited success. The same Members will also tell you that they have had some failures. I can only give you advice based on what has worked for me and I haven't had any failures.
Best wishes,
Mike

Any idea where I might get a copy of 2.4? Thanks.

Re: KN7000 SD
Hi Chuck,
I have the kit available in the shop, one left at the moment but I hope to have more in April - SD Jukebox for KN7000
They also come up on Ebay occasionally.
I've written to Panasonic about the kits but they don't sell them anymore. They don't make SD Jukebox available in English now and from what I read on their SD Jukebox forum (translated) it doesn't support the keyboards.
However, you could alternatively route your phone or mp3 player into your keyboard to play through the onboard speakers. That's what many Members do.
Best wishes,
Mike

Re: KN7000 SD
Hi Chuck,
Yes it runs on Windows 10. I don't run Windows 10 yet but I temporarily installed it on my PC a few months ago to check which programs work. I use some CAD programs that won't run on Windows 10 yet so I had to stay on Widnows 8 for now but I checked SD Jukebox 2.4 and it works fine.
Best wishes,
Mike

Re: KN7000 SD
Hi Mike:
I have not received the kit. Thanks. Also, do you know anyone interested in purchasing the bass pedals for the KN 7000?
