What can be expected in the near future.

I wonder what is going on because I do not see any news on the websites for moths now and also no email announcements. That is the mean reason for not renewing my vip membership. Is there any information about what can be expected in the near future?

Re: What can be expected in the near future.

Bert,

I'm sorry for taking so long to answer your post. I've been through some very challenging times and whilst I've been very busy maintaining the websites, fixing problems and so on there has not been enough time to add new content for a while. Our ever-faithful John Dawson has been very busy covering forum posts for me as well as progressing the many projects that we have underway (as have I).

What I will say is that within any 12 month period there will always be a significant amount of new content added and my (our) enthusiasm for the websites only increases, even if life gets in the way sometimes. The projects being worked on have literally years of content being developed including software and thousands of Styles and Songs.

Regarding VIP Membership it's entirely appropriate to wait and renew when the time seems right for you, or to maintain the membership when the renewal notification comes. I appreciate your support either way, all funds get put back into the site in one way or another whether that is for running costs, increasing content or for software and keyboards to help with conversions. From my point of view, I put as much time into the sites as I possibly can and that does vary from time to time due to the presence, or absence of, personal issues that I don't wish to share publicly. I know that every VIP will have access to considerable new content during any 12 month period, however, there has been a few months hiatus recently and I'm about to redress that.

In the near future there will be a concentration of song-specific Styles added to the sites, further additions to the Y2 Styles Series, new articles and other content including Styles and Sounds. The Magazine is still not completed simply due to lack of time (and I want it to be great so I don't want to rush it). Anyone who has been a VIP will receive it, even if their VIP Membership has expired but I can't commit to a date of publication yet. Those members will be notified by email and there will be an announcement on the site, so nobody will miss out it is simply delayed for a while unfortunately.

One highly significant problem has been that Styleworks stopped working on my computer. The programmer was not able to fix this and despite reformatting and re-installing everything numerous times he has not been able to fix it. I absolutely rely on Styleworks to do my projects and we've spent months trying to make it work. I've had to give up on that and get another computer for it to run on because the problem is still not fixed. This makes things more time-consuming for me because I have thousands of Styles partly done and I need some software on one PC and Styleworks on the other PC in order to process them. This means that each Style is moved between two PCs and the KN7000 numerous times until it is ready. Frustrating!

The sites have also needed to be completely restored from the backups twice during the last six months. Hopefully most Members won't have even noticed this happening in the background.

New VIP Styles are coming in the next week or so and you'll see everything getting more back to normal, including the Newsletters, over the next few months.

Best wishes,
Mike
