Hello,

I've owned a Technics SL1200 MkII for a couple of weeks now.
I've noticed sibilance in the treble across different records, most of which in good to very good conditions.

Before I conclude it's the cartridge's fault (Sonus blue - VTA 1 - counterweight & antiskate 1.25g~), I though I'd post here to see if it might be a capacitance issue with the cables instead.
In fact, the turntable came fitted with after-market cables (see picture) whose capacitance might be too high and causing the issue?

Any thoughts please?
