My mother in law lost her power supply for her Technics SX-PR51 and has tried for months to find a place she can buy a replacement. She asked me to help so I am posting here to see if anyone knows where I can find a power supply, or where I can find a replacement power supply, or at the very least the output of the power supply for her piano. The input would have to be 110 volts as we are located in the United States (please say a prayer for us if our country decides to elect Donald Trump...egads!)

My mother in law lost her vision a few years ago and her piano is very important to her. Any assistance you could provide would be very much appreciated.

Re: Help finding power supply for SX-PR51

Hi and welcome to the site, I have looked into the power supply for your mother's PR51 you say the power supply is 110 volt. I take it the instrument has not been imported from another country where the voltage is higher.. Things being equal your instrument is Mains powered and does not use any for of adaptor, The power cable is plugged into the top unit on the Right had side looking from the rear. The plug fitting is often called a "figure of eight " plug it is a 2 core supply lead, often of the type used on portable Stereo players etc. If you have a local Panasonic dealer they may be able to help or a good electrical suppler may be able, I would advise you take a photo, to the supplier so they can make sure they are supplying the correct item.
Best regards John.
