Hi all, new to this site! I have two Technics keyboards a PR602 and a PR902C. The PR902C recently packed up. When powering on, a few seconds later there is a loud buzz from the speakers but no sound from keys. Some buttons work i.e. the Demo button shows the scrolling LEDs but many other buttons do nothing. There is nothing on the centre screen.

Would anyone be able to advise where to start looking? I do have a Service Manual for this keyboard (how do I upload it?) but limited workshop facilities. I have no problem probing around looking at power supply outputs but have no oscilloscope or other test equipment.

Hi Mike,

It seems that it's an IC issue on the main voice board and likely to be unrepairable. Would you know if it's likely to ever find a replacement board? Oh, I meant to say, it's a 900 not a 902.
