Re: KN 5000

Hi and welcome to the site, having checked the parts list the Tweeter speakers are 6.5mm 8 ohms and power rating of 18 watts. The part number is QASG65PM03AK and I cannot say if Technics/Panasonic have any stock left after this time. you could check W D Greenhill&co Tel 01702546195 they may be able to help.
Regards John Dawson.

Re: KN 5000

Hi , thanks for the reply , my tweeters are 8 Ohms x 15 watts , K.TONE , Number 65PH03AK 70 mm x 70 mm , hole centers on the diagonal measure 75mm , after searching many sites and stockist / parts shops it seems this ? key board KN 5000 was fitted with different types of speackers and speackers of different wattages.

Is the part number you mentioned a genuine Technics part number as most begin with EAS Example EAS65PH31A3 and did Panasonic actually make the speackers.
I see nothing special about these speackers , there must be others that would do the job , they are only held on by 3 screws,
The thing is how much wattage can the motherboard surply to the tweeters as to me that is the main concern ?.

These in the attached picture [ like mine ] are available in America ,

Re: KN 5000

Hi, The part number I quoted is the part listed in the service manual issued by Technics/Panasonic. over time you find that parts end up being supplied by many manufacturing companies as is very common in the auto trade. The K.TONE speakers you have shown are in my KN5000 also. I will PM. you with more details
Regards John.
