NB: ATTEMPTING TO UPDATE THE ROM OF YOUR KEYBOARD CAN RENDER IT INOPERABLE SO PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK I CAN'T HELP YOU IF YOU DAMAGE YOUR KEYBOARD

I've attached a zip file that includes the update and an 'easy to run' batch file.

This will not work on 64bit Windows. Also, you might have to right-click the file and Run as Administrator on some versions of Windows.

1 - Download the zip file and unzip the contents into any folder
2 - Put a floppy disk in your disk drive
3 - Double click on the file "Create Floppy Disk"
4 - Put the disk in your KN5000 whilst it is off
5 - Hold down Panel Memory buttons 1, 2, 3 and 4 and keep holding them whilst you turn your KN5000 on
6 - When you see the message "Please Wait...", release the four buttons
7 - Turn off the keyboard when the screen instructs you to reboot
8 - Take the disk out
9 - Turn your KN5000 on

If all goes well you will have been updated. Please note the disclaimer, I really won't be able to help you if the update doesn't work correctly.
