Hi there
Just came across this site and find it most interesting and very informative. Having progressed from KN2000 ,KN5000 and then KN6500.After 12years, and having spent many pleasant hours playing the KN6500, I now find the Style Section a bit tedious. I was most interested in the Downloads of the TYROS Styles. However, like some of your other correspondents, I cannot get these files downloaded in a suitable form to be read by my keyboard. I do appreciate the hard work you fellows put into such a project and wondered if you could explain how this can be done (a computer novice) I am using a Laptop with Windows 10 and a Floppy Disc Drive

Hi SandyG,
As I write I'm working on the latest version of these for KN6000 and compatibles (at 3.15am(!)). So, I hope to finish these in a few hours and after I release them I'll write a document about how to download and use them.
You will need 27 floppy disks (same as me, sorry but that's how it is). Some of these disks will only have one Style on for now and others will have many Styles. As new Styles are released over the months, you'll be able to add them to the same floppy disks, so they won't go to waste.
Half of the Styles (all of them so far) will be available for free and the other half will be available for VIP Members.
They are taking much longer than I thought to do but I work full time so I don't have as much time as I would like to do them.
I'll reply to this post when the latest update is uploaded.

Hi Mike,
HELP - Trying to open ZIP File for 'KN6000 Styles Series Y2' but am getting the following message :- 'This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or, if one is already installed create an association in the defaults program's Control Panel' .Do you have a solution for this. Sorry to bother you.

Hi Sandy,
I'm assuming you're using Microsoft Windows? What version is it? Usually the file should just open.

Regardless of my previous query, try installing 7-Zip, restart your computer and then repeat the download.

I just realised that you had said Windows 10 in your first post. 7-ZIP will sort this out for you. Windows 10 does deal with zip files but installing 7-ZIP will make it more straightforward.
