KN-6000 Custom feature (Trying [email protected])

I've posted this twice in the last week but it doesn't make it to the forum for others to read. I've come back to the forum several time but still can't find it, so here it is again. Hope someone can help.

I've had my KN-6000 for only about a year, and am still exploring it. I came across something which I don't think is right, but have not been able to find anything about it in the manuals or on line. When touching the CUSTOM button in the Rhythm Group, or after touching the MUSIC STYLIST and then the CUSTOM STYLIST at the bottom of the left-side menu, the keyboard seems to shut down -- no noise, no lights, screen goes dark -- but only momentarily; after about 2 seconds everything is back to normal, but no CUSTOM features. It's almost like the keyboard shorts out, then immediately resets. Has anyone come across anything like this in the past? If so, did you get it resolved? How? What did you do to correct it? Any help greatly appreciated.
