Hi Andy,

Wow you're very lucky to find one.

We'll need to know the model and as much info as you can in order to find the particular instructions, if we can.

Best wishes,
Mike

Re: KN6000

Hi Mike,
Thanks for your reply.
Yes, very lucky I hope, if I get it to work,
On the PCB it says HD-SX3 but on the hard drive it has a sticker saying HD-SX6 but the 6 has been over written by a 3 in biro! The serial number is a little faded but I think it reads 203148.

Thanks again,
Andy

Re: KN6000

The User Manual for the hard drive is in the members area (search for sx6 or sx3 I'm not sure which). Both disks are the same, basically only the size differs. I think SX6 is 3.2Gb and yours is 2Gb or so.

I believe that you have to install a driver on your keyboard for the disk to work. I have the driver somewhere I'll dig it out later tonight. Or maybe I already put it in the members area I'm not sure. I think I've also seen a service manual for the drive or someone sent me one.

I'll be back in touch later this evening as I'm busy for a couple of hours but let us know what you find too.

Hi Mike,
I've been busy so haven't had chance to reply before. Firstly I was wondering if you had managed to find your disk for the HD-SX3 hard drive. I've managed to locate and download the driver for the HD-SX6 hard drive. Do you know if this is the same driver? I'll try and attach it for your reference.
Thanks,
Andy

Hi Andy,

I don't have the HD-SX3 driver, the one I had is the HD-SX6 the same as yours. I hope to get back to you about this shortly though, I've been in touch with the owner of Keysoft for more info.

Best wishes,
Mike

Re: KN6000

Hi mike, just wondering, I have a broken Kn6500 and a working KN6000. I have found a SX-3 harddrive with board, was thinking of installing it to the KN6000. Do you have that firmware for the SX-3? Or Can I use the same as SX-6?
