KN-SDExplorer on Windows10

I tried to use SDE explorer on windows10, but it does not work. After installing the try-out version I received a message that path to drive (F) cannot be found. During installation I entered (F: ) as my SD drive. What is the solution? Thank you, John

Hi John,

I don't know whether KNSDE is going to work on Windows 10 yet as I haven't installed it. However, I've ordered a new hard drive and I'll be installing Windows 10 later in the week. I dare not upgrade my existing installation to Windows 10 because we have already heard that many important programs won't run on it.

My current installation is Windows 8.1 64 bit, on which it works fine. However, the program was originally written for Windows 98 and Windows XP. For all my important work connected with Technics files, I keep a Windows XP laptop simply for that purpose.

I'll let you know what I can achieve with Windows 10 as soon as I've installed it and done some testing.

I've tested KNSDE on Windows 10 and it works fine.

Please follow the instructions in the following post, they are the same for Windows 10 as for Windows 8.1

I can't help much further with this for a few days because I've re-installed my Windows 8.1 hard drive. I have Windows 10 set up on another hard drive but I need to use Windows 8.1 myself for a few days before I swap the hard drives again to do further testing. But it does work.
